Everyone loved yesterday’s dress, which didn’t surprise me as it was BANGIN’, but also did surprise me as it is two years old and I wore it all the time to work back in the day.
However, a ridiculously exhaustive Google search of my tumblr (site:mar-see-ah.tumblr.com calvin, site:mar-see-ah.tumblr.com belt, and finally, tragically, site:mar-see-ah.tumblr.com dress) turned up a big fat NOTHING except for gratitude to you all for sticking with my horrid cell phone photos from before I got a smartphone. Finally I’d remembered I’d worn the dress once before when Maddie was in the hospital with pneumonia and I was sad. And I picked up a hippo at Anthropologie to hilarious results. (I didn’t think it was hilarious! That little hippo being so Maddie-sized almost made me cry!)
So I searched for Hippo and I found it. And… well. That’s how I spent my morning.
The details:
Dress: Calvin Klein, 2 years ago, via some sort of shopping website.
Belt: From Florence last month and fantastically orange
Purse: A ladylike Kate Spade.
Shoes (not pictured): Michael Kors and sky high.
