Guys, eight weeks until my book comes out! And seven weeks until my baby comes out! But let’s focus on the book right now, because the baby’s gotten more than enough attention lately.
I kindly ask for a favor. If you ever plan on buying the book between now and the time you die, I ask that you pretty pretty pretty please pre-order it. This is because a) the pre-order period (and first week) is the best time to get on those vaunted bestseller lists and b) strong pre-order sales can SIGNIFICANTLY (all caps!) impact the promotion and marketing of the book (better early sales = stronger push by the publisher = I sell a lot of books and we all go to Vegas and go crazy for a long weekend). So pre-orders are really, really important for authors, especially those who are not named “Grisham” or who did not write those 50 Shades of Grey books.
Not only that, it’s usually cheapest when you pre-order! And not only THAT, but it’s a really funny book, with an additional PS section (interview, reading guide, etc) and everything! And yes, it has pictures!
So again, even if you don’t want read it until 2015 or 2025, please pre-order. It’s now available for pre-order in e-book form, and all other links below. And if you have any questions about why the pre-orders are so important, just ask!
